We were the first company to introduce the aluminium scaffold towers ( instant span towers )and also the first to sell and rent Upright scissor lifts in Poland.
More companies own UpRight brand lifts than any other in Poland. Over 95 firms have purchased several hundred our lifts in Poland.
In the early years , UpRight manufactured the machines lifts in Selma California. The scaffolding and trailer lifts were made in Dublin Ireland.
Then in 2006 The Tanfield Group UK company, bought the lift production from Upright Inc. and moved production to the UK. In 2007 Tanfield also acquired Snorkel International as another division of its Aerial Work Platform (AWP) business in Elwood, Kansas USA.
In 2010 , the Tanfield company decided to market all aerial lifts worldwide, using the Snorkel brand name instead of using 2 separate names.
Now all lifts , booms , scissors will have the Snorkel name.
The orignal UpRight company still manufactures the aluminum scaffold towers in Dublin Ireland today and the larger lifts and booms are manufactured at the Snorkel factory in the USA.
